Christine Bridle

Registered Physiotherapist, former FCAMPT, CAFCI, MCPA

Christine Bridle has provided orthopaedic physiotherapy services to patients within the Niagara region since 1987. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a B.Sc. PT and then registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. 

She empowers her patients to achieve their maximum rehabilitation potential by using an evidence-based, multi-model approach, including manual therapy, acupuncture, various modalities (US, Laser, IFC, EMS, shock wave therapy), K taping, and specific exercise prescription.

Christine is trained extensively in both manual and manipulative therapy. She completed her advanced manipulative therapy exams in 1995, and was a FCAMPT (Fellow of the Canadian Manipulative Therapy) member from 1995-2023.  From 1995 to 2014, she instructed manual therapy courses for the orthopaedic division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and was also a national examiner for advanced exams from 2002 to 2014.

Christine’s training in acupuncture was completed with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute in 2007, leading to the integration of acupuncture in her clinical practice to assist patients with pain control.

Christine also worked for the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario from 2005 to 2021. She was involved in implementing their peer reviewed quality assurance program.

Over the years, Christine has volunteered for many sporting and church events since her children, now young adults, have ventured into many different sporting activities. Some of Christine’s volunteer activities include her volunteer work with the National Ski Patrol since 2003. Furthermore, she has completed her Senior status for Ski Patrol in 2015, which includes advanced training in outdoor emergency care and toboggan transport.
